Contact PortPedia
PortPedia welcomes corrections, additions, and feedback from cruise travelers, port authority staff, and tour operators. The site is maintained by a small editorial team and we read every message — even though we cannot always reply individually.
What to send
The most useful messages tend to fall into a few categories: factual corrections (a port has reorganized its terminal, a shore excursion pattern has changed, a referenced landmark has closed); additions (a port we don't yet cover that is on a recurring cruise itinerary); and structural feedback (something on the site that is hard to find, hard to read, or unclear).
What we don't handle
PortPedia is an independent reference site. We do not book shore excursions, sell cruise itineraries, or process refunds. Cruise booking and excursion questions should be directed to your cruise line or travel agent. Real-time vessel tracking and port arrival schedules are best obtained from your cruise line's app or a dedicated marine traffic service.
How to reach us
Email contact is preferred: editorial [at] portpedia.example. Replace the bracketed text with the standard symbol; we list addresses this way to reduce automated scraping.
For sponsored content inquiries: PortPedia does not currently accept sponsored content, paid placements, or affiliate-driven editorial coverage. AdSense-style programmatic ads may appear in marked locations on the site, but they do not influence editorial content or ranking.
Press and licensing
Aggregated, anonymized port directory data may be made available for non-commercial research use on request. The underlying source data is itself drawn from openly-licensed sources (primarily Wikidata and Wikipedia); see the About page for sourcing details.
